She just loves those tango shoes..

Captured with natural lighting, postwork and BW by me!
Special thanks to my model, ~Naraethlas
Color version here [link]

Pesonal note:

I've been long gone from photography.. Well, since my Ilford 400 days.

Just the fact that I managed to make a photoshoot with my digital compact is great for me!

awesome lighting. You made it look like more than just a room.

I promise i won't do anything silly like cutting off my ear to make a point, or eat paint to become one with my media, or take a bath in the stop bath to see if it will clear up my skin... really!

Thanks man, the light was just the morning sun coming from the windowpane and diffused by the curtain.. But it was great and inspirational! Still, there's quite a bit of postwork here too ;p

Welcome to DA!! I look forward to seeing more of your work. And I agree with her-- tango shoes are just the greatest!

"Who needs cable?! I've got some ropes that will do just fine..."
:iconknottynymph:
I guess I should have said welcome to PHOTOGRAPHY on DA-- oops. I misread your comment about being out of photography for a while (forgive my addled mind this morning, out of coffee, and I stayed up WAY to late trying to figure out how to do a harness I'm designing without cutting off circulation to any important bits, hehe)

Exactly the same story here! And I'd like to see it when it's done! Already love your rope decorations!

Thank you for the welcome!

Very nice image, the first of many we hope. A compact is good but there is no replacement for Ilford HP5 and FP4. I'm only just back thanks to using a compact once but having now restocked my gear with film equipment I'm certain that for me I have taken the right direction. Best wishes. Steve.
