so. a strange journey has reached it's...first big stop. older readers among you knew this for a while but sunstone was , a long time ago conceptualized as a four arc story. each arc named after the central couple's safeword sunstone- ally and lisa mercy- alan and anne jasper- marion and james and still unnamed for structural reasons fourth arc when i say sunstone is over i don't mean that ally and lisa's story is over, just the sunstone arc. now, here is how things go from here on anne and alan's storyarc mercy is next. this storyarc will provide us with it's own unique narrative. anne a bi girl who gets interested into this whole bd

Missing The Point I've been disappointed to see the various responses to SOPA, especially the "DEVIATION CENSORED" images. They so completely miss the point that I can only assume the people posting them have absolutely no comprehension of what SOPA means, why it's a problem, and what they're actually protesting against. First off, SOPA is not about censorship. Unfortunately, many of the opponents of SOPA decided to cast it as being about censorship in order to mobilize public opinion. Why did they do that? Back home/Some shameless promotion for friends

Well, I'm back home!  Still, looks like I'll spend most of May in the army. Reading a lot of web design lately, bet I can get it up to shape so I can get an actual job at it later! Times away from home is almost over!

I count some 15 days till I get back home! Sure, I'll still be in the army, I still be without a job and still live with my parents, but I'm still glad! I'll start feeling comfortable again and make plans for August! Been reading "The Pillars of the Earth". Picked it up at the airport last time I got here from leave! Yup, it's enormous and I heard about it on Oprah of all places, but it's a great book! It's about  the building of a cathedral during the dark ages of medieval England, and it has all the evil-plotting of the dark ages! Love it! On another subject, the Nikon D40 has dropped to just about 300 euros! Wish I had that in cash! I'm
